We are looking to appoint highly motivated, resourceful and committed Teaching Assistants to work in our school with pupils with Special Educational Needs.  Three Ways School is an Academy Trust, operating as a generic Community Special School.  Three Ways is divided into 3 departments’ primary, secondary and sixth form, to enable curriculum delivery and expectations that are age appropriate to all pupils.

 

The school is a Specialist School for Physical and Sensory.  It is also a School of Creativity.  We offer the full National Curriculum as a basis for curriculum development and add to this a wide range of additional activities for personal and social growth. All pupils are encouraged and supported to access learning and achieve the highest possible standards.

 

The posts are for 32.5 hours per week term-time only working 0830 – 1530 Monday to Friday including school training days. We require individuals who are adaptable, confident and preferably have experience of working in a school with pupils with special educational needs.  We have fixed term contract posts available starting 3 September 2018 and ending 31 August 2019.  There is also temporary maternity cover posts available to start in September 2018. 

 

The salary range for the posts are SCP 14 – 19 £17681 - £19446pa pro rata (actual starting salary for 32.5 hours per week term-time only will be £13277pa - £14610pa depending on qualifications and experience).

We are currently seeking a Data and Exams Administrator to provide an efficient and effective support to our busy school office. You should ideally have previous experience in a school admin role together with a good working knowledge of Microsoft office packages, especially word and excel and previous experience using databases to produce management reports.  You will need to have excellent organisational and communication skills, both oral and written. You will be required to maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding all aspects of work.  .

 

This post is term-time only plus one week, working 25 hours per week Monday to Friday, actual times to be agreed with the successful candidate.  Salary SCP Point 17 – 19  £18672 - £19446 pa pro rata (actual salary £11033 - £11490pa).  This post is for a fixed term starting in September 2018 (or possibly sooner) and ending on 31 August 2019.

Technical & IT Support Manager

We are looking to appoint an experienced Technical & IT Support Manager to oversee and provide maintenance and development of the ICT systems and infrastructure across the school. The successful candidate will have:

TA Supply

At Three Ways School we have a Supply Register for Teaching Assistants who are looking for casual work.  We are currently looking to increase our pool of supply TAs and are looking for resourceful and committed Teaching Assistants.  Supply TAs will work on a casual supply basis to cover for staff absences.  Appointed candidates may be called at short-notice to provide TA Cover within the School. We require individuals who are adaptable, confident and preferably have experience of working in a school with pupils with special educational needs although training and full induction is given. TAs on our supply register will be paid on hourly rate of approx. £8.70per hour for the actual hours worked. We are ideally looking for people who are flexible and able to cover from 8.30am to 3.30pm and who preferably could come in to cover Absence if called from 7.30am.

Please note, we cannot guarantee a set amount of cover per week, although in general those on the supply list have been utilised on a regular basis.

Cleaner

We are looking to recruit a cleaner to work within our school.  We require 10 hours per week 2 hours per day from 3:30pm to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday term-time only. 

This is a permanent post at  £7.83 per hour.
