Three Ways School is an Outstanding (Ofsted 2019) Academy, operating as a generic Special School situated in the Georgian City of Bath. The school provides for children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs. The School is divided into 3 departments; Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form, to enable curriculum delivery and expectations that are age appropriate to all pupils. The school is a Specialist School for Physical and Sensory. It is also a School of Creativity. We offer the full National Curriculum as a basis for curriculum development and add to this a wide range of additional activities for personal and social growth.
We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher to teach pupils across the school who have a range of complex special educational needs.
We would welcome applications from teachers/NQT’s who have experience or a passion for SEN or teachers from mainstream schools who have the capacity to develop their skills.
The successful candidate will:
•be experienced and/or interested in SEN practices and provision with extensive knowledge of how to meet the needs of pupils with SEN or the capacity to gain this quickly
•have a great deal of enthusiasm and can motivate and inspire all pupils to learn
•have excellent communication skills
•have an interest in teaching a range of subjects.

Teaching Assistant (Casual Supply Staff)

We are currently looking for resourceful and committed Supply Teaching Assistants. Supply Teaching Assistants will work on a casual supply basis to cover for staff absences. Appointed candidates may be called at short-notice to provide TA Cover within the School. We require individuals who are adaptable, confident and preferably have experience of working in a school with pupils with special educational needs although training and full induction is given. Supply Teaching Assistants will be paid on hourly rate of approx. £9.70per hour for the actual hours worked. We are ideally looking for people who are flexible and able to cover from 8.30am to 3.30pm and who preferably could come in to cover Absence if called from 7.30am.

Also bring evidence of National Insurance number (payslip may contain it). We will also require evidence of the qualifications you hold Please bring in your original qualification certificates. These documents must be originals - please hand to the office for copying the day of Tour and Interview.
We cannot guarantee a set amount of cover per week, although in general those on the supply list have been utilised on a regular basis.

We are looking to recruit a cleaner to work within our school. We require 10 hours per week 2 hours per day from 3:30pm to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday term-time and one week during the summer holidays
This is a permanent post at £8.55 per hour.
