Three Ways School is a generic Special School which provides for 220 children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs. Three Ways is divided into 3 departments Primary 3yrs - 11yrs; Secondary 11 yrs - 16 yrs; Sixth Form 16yrs - 19yrs. Three Ways School is an Academy Trust.
We are currently seeking to employ a highly motivated, resourceful and committed Cafe Assistant in our Work Skills Centre/ Café which supports pupils with Special Education Needs to carry out work experience placements whilst servicing the local community.
You will work alongside the established café team assisting in the daily kitchen duties as required.
The post is part-time to work 3 mornings per week (including a Saturday), total of 10 hours per week. This is an all year round appointment.

At Three Ways School we have a Supply Register for Teaching Assistants who are looking for casual work. We are currently looking to increase our pool of supply TAs and are looking for resourceful and committed Teaching Assistants. Supply TAs will work on a casual supply basis to cover for staff absences. Appointed candidates may be called at short-notice to provide TA Cover within the School. We require individuals who are adaptable, confident and preferably have experience of working in a school with pupils with special educational needs although training and full induction is given. TAs on our supply register will be paid on hourly rate of approx. £8.70per hour for the actual hours worked. We are ideally looking for people who are flexible and able to cover from 8.30am to 3.30pm and who preferably could come in to cover Absence if called from 7.30am.

Once your application form has been received we will contact you for a tour of school and an interview. If you are a successful candidate we will then complete pre-employment checks (Right to work in the UK, DBS Check, Pre-employment Medical & 2 Satisfactory References).
For your DBS you will need to bring with you three items of documentary evidence of identity, e.g. driving licence, passport, birth certificate and a utility bill or bank statement less than three months old. Also bring evidence of National Insurance number (payslip may contain it). We will also require evidence of the qualifications you hold Please bring in your original qualification certificates. These documents must be originals - please hand to the office for copying the day of Tour and Interview.
Please note, we cannot guarantee a set amount of cover per week, although in general those on the supply list have been utilised on a regular basis.
