School Council

In September every year each class votes for two pupils to be the class representatives on the Three Ways School Council.

The council are involved in lots of really important decisions in school. Last year they interviewed people for the deputy headship and decided that Mrs Stoaling was the best candidate and she got the job.

Welcome:
Mr Smith started by welcoming the Student Council members present and explained agenda for today’s meeting.  He also introduced Mr Tony Comer, a school governor

Vote on Fundraising for the Friendship Bench:
Mr Smith asked each class rep to let him know which fundraising idea their class had voted for.  The winning idea was to have a disco day.  At the next meeting we will be planning the event.
We also chose the style of bench that we would like to have. (See below)  We would buy a plain bench and then the students would chose the colours to paint it in

Student Council Notice Board:
Mr Smith asked how many students had noticed the new board for the council.  Most said yes and that it was nice.
Student Council was asked what they would like to be displayed in future.
